Dogs in Foster Families
In a best case scenario, the 8-10 week old puppies are transferred to foster families, where they remain until they reach the age of 1.
Unfortunately, it is rather difficult to find such accommodating families with free capacity during this specific period of puppies’ life, and this is why we are forced to sell those which we are unable to raise in a social and people-centred environment.
Until the puppies reach the age of one, many features could emerge that could potentially rule them out of becoming guide dogs (increased fetching abilities and behaviour, etc.).
We look forward to hearing from potential caring dog-owners.
